TRAVEL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BOBLEREJSER

The following terms and conditions have been drawn up in accordance with the Danish Package Travel Act (https://danskelove.dk/pakkerejseloven), which, together with other Danish legislation, regulates the purchase of travel between the customer and Boblerejser.
PURCHASE OF THE TRIP
The purchase of the trip is binding for the tour operator and the customer when the deposit and/or the full price of the trip has been paid on time. By making the payment, the customer is deemed to have accepted the stated information and terms and conditions for the trip, including these general terms and conditions for the purchase of and participation in package tours, as well as the tour operator's information about the trip.
The main booker is the person who books the trip and thus the person who enters into the agreement with Boblerejser. All changes and any cancellations must be made by the main booker. Fellow travelers who wish to make a change to the trip must therefore do so via the main booker. The main booker is responsible for ensuring that important information (e.g., a change in flight time) can be communicated to them at the address, telephone number, and email address provided to Boblerejser booking the trip.
The traveler is obliged to check the information in the travel document and other information immediately. It is the responsibility of the traveler to report any errors as soon as possible. Changes may be subject to a fee or a new booking. Names on the travel document must always match the passport and must always include at least the first name and last name.
PRICE AND PAYMENT
The price of the trip includes what is mentioned in the itinerary, such as airline tickets, apartment/house rental, diving and transportation to dive sites, as well as transportation to and from the airport. There may be additional expenses associated with diving trips, for example, if you need to go out by boat or if you have special requests regarding the number of diving instructors/guides. Additional expenses will generally be communicated before you agree to anything extra. The price is stated in the confirmation sent after booking the trip. Tips are not included.
Please note that depending on the airline, additional charges in the form of departure tax may apply.
Expenses for passports, insurance, and similar items are not included in the price and are the responsibility of the traveler.
Please note that all our prices are adjusted up or down on an ongoing basis depending on supply and demand.
The deposit is normally 40% of the price of the trip, but the amount may vary for individual trips. The deposit is payable at the time of booking. The deposit is non-refundable in the event of later cancellation. The balance must be paid 12 weeks before departure. Both dates are stated on the invoice sent with the confirmation.
For bookings made later than 12 weeks before the departure date, the full price of the trip must be Boblerejser on the same day as the booking is made.
When booking a package tour, written confirmation will be sent. The travel booking is then considered binding for both Boblerejser the customer.
If the payment terms are not met, Boblerejser has Boblerejser to cancel the trip without notice.
Travel documents and other documents will be sent no later than 7 days before departure.
Boblerejser the right to make price changes prior to the date of departure due to changes in transport costs (e.g., fuel prices), taxes, duties, or fees (e.g., airport, takeoff, or landing fees), or exchange rates used to calculate the price of the trip in question. This also applies even if the trip has been paid for in full.
The customer must be notified of any price increases and the reasons for them as soon as possible and no later than 20 days before the start of the package tour by written notice to the address/email address provided by the traveler when purchasing the trip or later.
PAS
All passports must be valid for the duration of the stay. However, when traveling to Bali, the passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they take out the right travel insurance. All Danish travel insurance policies cover diving as standard (read more here Travel insurance for diving), but we encourage you to check with your travel insurance provider.
Travelers are advised to take out travel insurance and to ensure that the insurance provides the necessary coverage.
Boblerejser held responsible for expenses incurred due to participants' lack of insurance.
We recommend that you take out travel and cancellation insurance with Europæiske, a reputable company with excellent customer service. You can read more about it here: Europæiske Travel Insurance.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE
It is recommended that you take out cancellation insurance at home. It is a good idea to check whether you already have cancellation insurance through your household insurance.
CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS OR CANCELLATIONS
If the customer wishes to make changes to the package tour, Boblerejser must Boblerejser as soon as possible. If it is possible for Boblerejser change the package tour, the customer must pay the additional costs incurred by the changes as well as a change fee of DKK 500 per person. If the customer wishes to make changes and this is not possible, the change will be considered a cancellation of the package tour and a new booking.
The customer may transfer the trip to another person for a fee of DKK 500 per person, unless Boblerejser's subcontractors wholly or partially restrict such a transfer. In such cases, Boblerejser will Boblerejser the possibilities and costs of a possible transfer. Notification of transfer must be made to Boblerejser 70 days before the start of the trip. Notification after this time will result in the customer losing the right to transfer the package tour. Transfer can only take place if the person to whom the package tour is transferred meets the necessary conditions and requirements for completing the trip, including passport and insurance, as specified by Boblerejser conclusion of the agreement. The customer and the person to whom the package tour is transferred are jointly and severally liable for payment of any outstanding amounts and costs resulting from the transfer.
Boblerejser the right to increase prices due to circumstances that Boblerejser is Boblerejser to take into account in advance, e.g. increased transport prices, increased taxes and duties, oil prices, changes in exchange rates, etc. The price increase will not exceed 10% of the price of the trip and will be notified no later than 20 days before departure.
We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary, accommodation, diving times, etc. The agency cannot be held responsible for delays in air travel, taxis, and ferries over which Boblerejser has Boblerejser control, and no compensation will be paid.
Prices may vary depending on the period and season. We reserve the right to sell out of flight seats, accommodation, etc. at short notice.
Unexpected situations may arise on any trip that necessitate a change to the itinerary. This is a decision that is made at the time in consultation with our partners. If part of the planned route/travel package has to be changed due to force majeure or similar situations, Boblerejser be held financially responsible for this.
According to the Consumer Agreement Act https://www.retsinformation.dk/eli/lta/2004/451, there is no right of withdrawal for the purchase of package tours.
The general rules for cancellation in the Package Travel Act apply in all other respects.
In case of cancellation, the deposit paid will be forfeited.
For cancellations between 12 and 8 weeks prior to departure, 50% of the trip price will be refunded.
If you cancel later than 8 weeks before departure, the entire price of the trip will be forfeited.
Cancellation of the trip must be made in writing.
The customer must arrive at the airports in good time and immediately keep themselves informed about updated departure times, terminals, and gates. In case of late arrival or no-show, the entire price of the trip will be forfeited. This also applies if the no-show is due to missing or invalid passports, visas, vaccinations, or other necessary travel documents.
If Boblerejser cancel the trip or is unable to complete the trip as agreed, customers will be notified in writing and the entire amount paid will be refunded.
If natural disasters or war-like events occur at the destination within a period of 2 weeks prior to departure, the entire price of the trip will be refunded, with the exception of any diving certificates purchased and paid for (online training/e-learning).
However, reimbursement is conditional upon the Ministry of Foreign Affairs https://um.dk/rejse-og-ophold/rejse-til-udlandet/rejsevejledninger advising against travel to the area in question and the events having occurred after the trip was booked.
COMPLAINTS AND LIABILITY FOR DAMAGES
Boblerejser limited liability in accordance with international conventions. Any legal action must be brought under Danish law and brought before a Danish court or arbitration tribunal. Please refer to the general terms and conditions for package tours.
If a defect is discovered after the start of the trip – either en route or at the destination – the customer must immediately report the defect to Boblerejser by email or telephone. If Boblerejser or unwilling to remedy the defect, or if the customer is not satisfied with the remedy provided, the customer must immediately lodge a complaint directly with Boblerejser.
If the customer fails to complain as described above, they lose the right to subsequently invoke the defect and make a claim against Boblerejser, as Boblerejser has Boblerejser had the opportunity to remedy the defect.
Claims for compensation, proportional reduction in the price of the trip (compensation), or inconvenience allowance as a result of defects that have been correctly reported and not remedied by Boblerejser must be submitted to Boblerejser within a reasonable time after the end of the trip Boblerejser Otherwise, the customer loses the right to make a claim against Boblerejser .
Airlines are directly responsible for the proper execution of transport. Boblerejser its liability to the limits applicable at any given time as set out in these conventions, regulations, and laws. Boblerejser's liability cannot therefore exceed the amount applicable to the carriers who are directly responsible for the transport.
RULES ON THE IMPORTATION OF PLANTS, FRUIT, SEEDS, AND OTHER PLANT PRODUCTS
Boblerejser obliged to provide information about the rules for importing plants, fruit, seeds, and other plant products when entering Denmark after staying in countries outside the EU. We refer to the Danish Agricultural Agency's brochure, which can be read HERE.
PERSONAL DATA
Boblerejser an electronic register of our customers and their personal information in accordance with the rules of the Personal Data Act (PDL) https://www.retsinformation.dk/eli/lta/2000/429. The information is stored in our reservation system and is necessary for us to complete orders and fulfill our delivery obligations to our customers. Necessary information may include the customer's contact details and destination information, which is passed on to our partners and airlines.
Information in our electronic register is processed and disclosed for the purpose of contacting the customer and providing all necessary information about the trip booked. In addition, the customer may be contacted regarding further information and planning necessary for the completion of the trip.
When a customer travels with us, we store the customer's information in our customer register for a period of up to three years. In our customer register, we process information collected about the customer's previous trips and preferences on these trips. The information is updated regularly and stored for the purpose of providing the customer with the best service if the customer purchases another trip through Boblerejser.
Boblerejser responsible for the processing of all personal information stored by Boblerejser. Confirmation of the trip, as well as invoices and travel documents, will be sent to the address provided to us by the main traveler.
When a customer books and purchases a trip with us, the customer thereby consents to our collection, processing, and disclosure of personal information about the customer in accordance with the above.
If the customer wants info about what info we have in our register, we should point out that, according to PDL § 26, the customer can ask to see our register. If the customer wishes to make changes to the registered information or no longer have the collected personal information appear in our register, the customer is requested to contact us with a request for the information to be deleted atboblerejser
