About us

We parents already had our diving certificates and had dived in many places around the world, but with small children, diving had naturally been put on hold for a number of years. On Gozo, however, the desire quickly returned—the water was crystal clear, and the wildlife below the surface was overwhelmingly rich.

When we started looking for a good diving center, one criterion was at the top of our list: safety. We wanted to give the children a trial dive, but the most important thing for us was that they had a safe and positive experience. We wanted to be absolutely sure that the instructors were experienced, the equipment was top-notch, and the atmosphere was calm and professional. What we saw underwater, or whether we could save a few euros, was less important—we wanted the best.

After visiting several diving centers, we finally found the perfect place—a center with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and a high level of professionalism. The safety and equipment were top-notch, and the instructors were highly trained, welcoming, and all had extensive experience teaching children and families.

We felt safe and welcome from the very first moment and booked trial dives for the children. The rest is history – the whole family fell in love with diving and life beneath the sea.

The following year, we returned to Gozo – this time with the clear goal of having the children dive and obtain their certification.
They had completed the theory part online at home, and at the diving center in Gozo, they took the practical part with an instructor who was fantastic at communicating, creating a sense of security, and making diving fun and educational for the children.

Since then, we have made many trips to Gozo, and together we have now had over 400 dives as a family – each time with new experiences and memories below the surface of the sea.

We also have a great love for Bali – an incredibly beautiful island where the diving is absolutely unique. Here we have found a special place that we return to again and again, and where we have had some of our most unforgettable dives with sea turtles, clownfish, and octopuses.

Diving has given us a shared passion as a family—an experience we will always have together, and one that has brought us closer.

It was precisely this desire to share the joy of diving and inspire other families to experience life beneath the sea in a safe and fantastic way that led to the creation of Boblerejser.
