Trial dives for beginners & children - Family-friendly introduction to diving
Try diving without a certificate with a safe trial dive in shallow water. Perfect for beginners, families, and children aged 8 and up with PADI Bubblemaker or SSI Try Scuba. Experience weightlessness and underwater life—an experience you will never forget!
Trial dive – experience a whole new world beneath the sea
Have you always dreamed of trying diving, but aren't quite sure if a full course is the right first step? Then a trial dive for beginners is the perfect solution. Here you get the opportunity to experience the underwater world in a safe and fun way – without the need for a certificate.
An introductory dive gives you a taste of what real diving is all about: the feeling of weightlessness, the beautiful underwater landscape, and encounters with tropical fish and corals. At the same time, everything is guided by experienced diving instructors, so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
“It was an amazing feeling to be completely free and weightless underwater.”

What is a trial dive?
A trial dive (often called discover scuba diving or intro diving) is a short introduction to diving, where you learn the basics about equipment, safety, and breathing underwater.
A brief introduction on land or by the pool, where you will learn about equipment and basic signals.
You will be "kitted out" with diving equipment, mask, snorkel, and regulator.
In shallow water where you can stand up, try breathing underwater for the first time.
Then take small steps: first kneeling in shallow water, then swimming at a gentle pace.
Once everyone feels confident, the instructor will take you on a real dive – to a maximum depth of 6 meters.
Everything is based on your pace. There is no pressure, only encouragement, calmness, and safety.
Trial dive for families – an experience you share
Many people choose to try diving with the whole family on vacation. It is a fantastic activity because everyone can participate at their own level. Parents can try diving with their children, and even the youngest can get a taste of underwater life.
When traveling with children, it is reassuring to know that diving takes place in shallow water under the supervision of professionals. And being able to share the experience—looking at each other underwater, pointing at a fish, or feeling weightless—creates memories you will talk about again and again.

Trial dives for children – PADI Bubblemaker and SSI Try Scuba (8-10 years)
If your children are between 8 and 10 years old, they are too young to obtain a real PADI or SSI certificate. But that doesn't mean they have to wait to try diving!
This is where PADI Bubblemaker or SSI Try Scuba come into the picture. These are child-friendly programs where children are allowed to try diving equipment and experience the underwater world in a completely safe environment. Everything takes place in shallow water, under the close supervision of experienced instructors, so that children can experience how a new world opens up – without compromising on safety.
For many children, Bubblemaker/Try Scuba is the start of a lifelong passion for diving.
Why choose a trial dive?
There are many good reasons to choose a trial dive rather than jumping straight into a course:
Low risk – high experience: You can try diving without committing to a multi-day course.
Safety first: Everything takes place in shallow water and in small groups, so the instructor can focus on you.
Family experience: Perfect to share on vacation – both children and adults will have an experience to remember.
First step towards certification: If you want to take it further, you can then take a proper diving course for beginners (e.g. PADI/SSI Scuba Diver or Open Water).
Trial dive – a gift and an experience that lasts
A trial dive can also be an experience gift —for a confirmation candidate, for the family, or as part of a vacation. Instead of things that end up on the shelf, you give memories and experiences that last a lifetime.
Imagine the confirmand talking about their first encounter with the underwater landscape, or the whole family reminiscing about the day you took your first breath underwater together. These are experiences that stay with you.
Are you ready for your first dive?
Whether you choose a trial dive in shallow water, an introductory dive for the whole family such as a PADI Bubblemaker program for children or SSI Try Scuba, we can guarantee an experience filled with safety, laughter, and adventure.
A world of weightlessness, schools of fish, and colorful corals awaits—and it all starts with a single breath underwater.
